Invisalign
Invisalign orthodontic treatment involves utilizing a series of customized retainers used to move and straighten teeth a little at a time over a period of time. The process uses clear, plastic aligners that can be easily removed when you eat or clean your teeth, are very comfortable, and virtually invisible to others. They are worn 24 hours a day, with the exception of when they are removed for eating and cleaning purposes.

The Invisalign process begins with an appointment to diagnose, photograph and make models of your mouth. These records are sent to the Invisalign headquarters, and used to determine the level to which the teeth need to be moved and to where they will be moved. Utilizing computer technology and consultation with your doctor, aligners are created for a number of specific time periods and used incrementally to move teeth to their desired location. The time required for Invisalign depends on the extent of tooth movement and repositioning required. Slight correction can take four to six months, while more complex cases may take two to three years to complete. The team at the Advanced Dental Group has successfully completed Invisalign treatment on hundreds of patients.
